Urban Semiotics

Urban Semiotics is a photography series on cities' complex signs and symbols. It investigates how citizens communicate through words, body language, common places and sounds. The project intends to use photography to capture these signs in their natural setting. This will show how urban life shapes culture, identity, and society. It links aesthetics, psychogeography and social psychology through city visuals. It asks viewers to interpret metropolitan chaos and consider its meaning.

Light Study

Francesco Bacon's quote, "For light to be bright, there must be darkness," inspires this photography journey. In this project, we explore the relationship between light and darkness so that we can see how each one helps the other shine stronger.

This study looks into how light paints on darkness. Light shines best in darkness, transforming everything. Both light and dark are beautiful, but the difference between them makes them shine even stronger. They perform a timeless illumination dance.

Optics

IMG_2809.jpg

At the heart of  this project lies the technique of prism photography, where prisms act as transformative instruments, refracting and dispersing light to create captivating visual effects. The imperfections involved in the photographic process are embraced, with intentional blurring and distortions creating a dynamic contrast between clarity and abstraction. By using prisms, regular scenes become ethereal and invite spectators into kaleidoscopic dimensions.
